Qi Gong
NAMASTE
My journey into the martial & healing arts started when I was 8 years old. The system I started with was called Shaolin
Long Fist. The training went on for 10 years my teacher was a Lebanese who trained in France most of his life. After that i
trained in another system called Wing Chun for 4 years. I learned this system on my own
after many hours of research and all the material I could find.
It was at 22 that I discovered Tai chi, Qi Gong and the internal arts. My first experience with both was at A.B.B.A in Beirut.
There I trained in Tai Chi (42 combined form) with Mr. Hawi and Qi Gong with Mr. Razmig. The system that I learned
from Mr. Razmig is not the one I teach today, because I have not completed the whole system. But it was a great base for
my later Qi Gong studies. This training went on for a few years, during which I attended a workshop with Dr. Jian Liu Jun
in Chen Style Tai Chi and Zhang Zhuan Qi Gong. I started at around that time to research & learn on my own different
Qigong & fighting arts. My art of choice was Baguazhang in the martial arts & Daoist Qigong in the healing arts. During
this period I also did Yoga. I followed throughout three years the seminars given by Guru Jaggi Vasudev. It consited of
several asanas, pranayamas & meditations.
I also studied Chen Tai Chi and Qi Gong with Sifu Chen of A.B.B.A for a year. The focus was on standing meditation &
advanced breathing exercises. I then traveled to Malayisa to deepen my studies. There I learned Baguazhang & Qi Gong
form my teacher Grandmaster Wu Soong Fa. He fixed what I had learned alone & taught me advanced skills. In Malaysia
I also did five Pranic Healing workshops. I still go there whenever I can to train & evolve in the arts.
For a year now I have been studying by correspondence with Master Yao Cheng Guang the leader of the Yiquan martial &
Qi Gong system from Beijing China. I have also been doing BABAJI Kryia Yoga with the help of the Self -Realization
Fellowship in Los Angeles. I guess the journey of self-discovery & soul realization never ends. I hope to keep learning
from great teachers like the ones I was blessed to have, and keep evolving and growing.
